Currently, we are a small but mighty team of 9, with backgrounds in commercial, people + culture, VC and consulting. We have ambitious plans for growth, and as part of that we’re hiring for this super exciting and progressive role.
Alongside Unleashed & JBM, we are part of Amplified - the people services group that supports technology companies from inception to IPO.
Amplified has grown 3x in the last year, and Foundation Partners has grown at the same pace. We are scaling quickly across the UK and Europe and building a strong portfolio of clients in the US.
💼 About the Role
This is a step up from our Associate / People Partner role. As a Partner, you own client outcomes, senior relationships, and the overall People strategy across your portfolio.
You will operate as a fractional Head of / People Lead for multiple high-growth companies. That means setting direction, shaping roadmaps, advising founders, and ensuring People decisions drive commercial outcomes.
Where Associates deliver work-streams and roadmaps, you will define and build them. You will take accountability for quality, impact, and how the work lands with leadership teams.
Working fractionally accelerates learning. You will be exposed to exceptional founders and fast-scaling companies across the UK, Europe, and the US. You will work alongside colleagues who have scaled dozens of high-growth businesses. The variety, pace, and standard of thinking are high.
We are looking for individuals who have led People functions before, typically at Head of or Lead level. Titles matter less than ownership. You must be able to connect People strategy to business performance.
🔥 Key Responsibilities
There are two main areas of responsibility within this role:
Firstly, owning and delivering exceptional client outcomes
You will:
Own senior client relationships, particularly with founders and executive teams
Define and shape People strategy and multi-quarter roadmaps
Scope work-streams clearly and delegate effectively to Associates
Review and sign off work before it ships to ensure quality and consistency
Lead complex topics such as organisational design, performance, compensation, talent strategy and operating models
Navigate employee relations and legal issues confidently, using external counsel where appropriate
Connect People initiatives directly to commercial priorities and measurable outcomes
Ensure work embeds successfully and does not remain theoretical
You will typically manage multiple clients in a fractional capacity and act as their trusted People leader.
Secondly, contributing to the growth of Foundation Partners
You will:
Mentor and develop Associates working on your accounts
Help refine how we deliver as we scale

Experience leading a People function, or at least parts of it, in a scaling environment, typically at Head of / Lead level
Strong understanding of People Ops and employee experience across the full lifecycle
Confidence navigating employee relations and legal topics
Ability to connect People strategy to commercial priorities and outcomes
Experience in high-growth, venture-backed or scaling technology environments
