Founding GTM & Account Executive
Founding AE in London: own the full sales cycle from cold outreach to close, build the go-to-market from scratch, and scale an AI‑driven fintech for consumer brands.
Our client launched in 2024 and is building an AI-first business bank for consumer brands; combining funding, payments and AI-powered cash flow management into one platform. They've grown to this point without a sales function. You'll be one of the first AEs through the door, and you'll help build everything that comes next.
This is not a role for someone who needs a deck, a playbook or a training programme. There isn't one yet. You'll be learning the product by using it, building your own approach from scratch and figuring out how to sell something genuinely new to people who don't know they need it yet.
The role
You'll own the full sales cycle - from cold outreach to close - and work directly with the founders every day. You'll build the processes, test the messaging and leave your stamp on how this business goes to market. With ~800% growth expected in 2026, the window to do that is now.
What you'll actually be doing
Cold prospecting — calls, emails, LinkedIn, whatever works
Building intelligent outreach using AI tools and data
Aligning products to the real finance needs of consumer brands
Developing playbooks across verticals as you go
Closing new business and helping build the revenue engine from zero
Who we need
Someone who has done this before in an early-stage environment, ideally as a founding or first AE
You'll have a track record of hitting targets in fintech, financial services or high-growth tech
Comfortable and energised walking into ambiguity and making it work
Sector knowledge matters here. If you've sold to consumer brands, even better.

3 months — pipeline built, first deals closed, ramped without being carried
6 months — consistent against target, repeatable approach taking shape
12 months — top performer, shaping how the team scales around you
