Full or Part-Time Position — ZZZ Corporate Accommodation

We’re a small boutique agency arranging corporate accommodation for some of the world’s biggest events — think Cannes, Davos, Munich, Leeds and Barcelona (yes, we said Leeds, we love it too). We’re growing fast and need a numbers-loving new addition to the team who can keep us accurate, organised, and calm under pressure.

What You’ll Bring

• Proficient with accounting software, specifically Xero

• Organised, with great attention to detail

• Confident navigating Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

• Personable — just as comfortable on the phone as at a keyboard

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• A genuine team player

• Adaptable, and always looking for a smarter way to do things

What You’ll Be Doing

• Daily and monthly bank reconciliations

• Preparing and entering journals into Xero

• Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties

• Reconciling balance sheet accounts

• Reviewing and setting up supplier payments

• Reviewing accounts receivable

• Assisting with monthly payroll and commission calculations

• Reviewing expenses, payroll records and other bits and pieces as assigned

• Assisting with VAT returns and other reporting requirements

• Teaming up with Sales & Operations to problem-solve and fix variances
